Erebor had never been busier, the King had to think as he walked through the bustling halls of the kingdom under the mountain. Holly and branches of pine decorated the railings on either side of him, red ribbons climbing up the pillars into beautiful bows; dwarves and dams alike all hustling as they hastily decorated.
The scent of mulled wine was heavy in the air; notes of sugar and ham teasing his nose; and Thorin couldn't help but to breathe in deeply with appreciation.
It was almost time to celebrate the incoming new year; a time of rebirth and new beginnings, and though the tragedy of the Battle of the Five Armies was still visible in the scorch marks that lined the ground; the kingdom was ready to welcome this new age in.
Turning a corner to go into the main dining hall, Thorin's face twitched into a small smile as he spied you and Bilbo going over what looked to be decoration plans.
Thorin's heart warmed at seeing his One and his friend conversing excitedly, and when you looked to him, Thorin could feel the excitement beginning to fill his veins.
You were dressed in fine garbs; red to match his favorite tunic, and with white and black furs to keep from the cold. Your braid that he had done when he had declared his love for you was swept over your shoulder; a decorative bead just above his own.
You smiled widely at him, and you handed Bilbo your plans before greeting Thorin, wrapping your arms around his neck and kissing his cheek.
"Thorin! You're just in time. Bilbo and I were going over plans for decorating the main hall. I was going to suggest that we invite your cousin, Dain, to the feast."
Thorin hummed, tilting his head slightly as you gazed at him with such bright eyes that Thorin couldn't not disagree.
"I see. I will send a raven to see what he might say, though knowing him, Dain would never turn down an opportunity to drink."
You chuckled before you gasped slightly, reaching into your dress to take out a neatly wrapped gift.
"Oh, amrâlimê, I made you something."
Thorin's eyes widened slightly and he glanced down at the box you had placed into his hands. His heart began to race, and he couldn't keep the blush from his cheeks, asking you gently.
"You made something for me?"
"Yes. I...admittedly asked Dwalin for advice, but everything was made by me."
Thorin gently unwrapped the box and he became speechless when his blue eyes spied silver and black oak beads encrusted with emeralds and rubies. Carefully taking the beads out, Thorin was breathless.
"These are...these are beautiful, amrâlimê. You made these?"
You looked proud, nodding as you carefully took one of them, grabbing one of his braids and clipping it right above the one that already kept his braid intact, making the King damn-near faint.
"Yes. I've been practicing with beadwork every since you showed me how to work with metal. It's meant to be festive, but I wouldn't be opposed to you wearing them until I make you more."
Thorin smiled, gazing at you as if you were the only person in the world, and he said softly.
"You are so kind to me. I have no right to handle your love...no right to be so blessed by your presence."
Your face softened, and you cupped his cheeks, making the king lean into you slightly as his eyes closed slightly.
"Mahal has brought me to you for a reason, my King. Is it so unbelievable that the King under the Mountain not only is allowed to reclaim his home, but to reclaim the line of Durin as well?"
Thorin's ears went pink, and he chuckled, shaking his head slightly as he brought you close.
"You speak boldly as if there is nobody to hear you."
"I like to think it makes life more daring that way."
Thorin chuckled before he winked at you slightly.
"If you'll allow me to steal your time, I would...very much like for you to braid my hair with these new beads for the festivities."
You giggled and curtsied playfully, making Thorin chuckle.
"Why, how could I ever refuse the king? Lead me away, Thorin Oakenshield."

Full Stack Development: Powering the Digital Economy
The emergence of the digital economy has changed how companies' function, bringing with it both new possibilities and difficulties. Full Stack Development, which makes it possible to create seamless, end-to-end digital solutions, is at the center of this change. This all-inclusive method gives developers the ability to manage backend systems and frontend interfaces, guaranteeing seamless operation and user-friendly experiences. Full Stack Programming has become essential for fostering innovation and success as industries depend increasingly on digital platforms. We will look at how it influences the digital economy and prepares companies to prosper in a cutthroat environment in this post.
Tumblr media
Creating Seamless E-Commerce Platforms
A key component of the digital economy is e-commerce and Full Stack Development is essential to its success. Frontend technologies like Angular and Vue.js are used by developers to make aesthetically pleasing and responsive internet storefronts. Frameworks such as Laravel and Ruby on Rails handle user data, transactions, and inventory on the backend.
Retaining clients requires a smooth buying experience, which Full Stack Developers make sure to accomplish by incorporating payment methods, search features, and tailored suggestions. For instance, effective backend procedures are used to develop dynamic pricing algorithms and user-specific offers, which are then shown in real time on the frontend. This all-encompassing strategy guarantees that companies can offer a better buying experience, increasing client loyalty.
Driving Innovation in Fintech
Full Stack Programming is also particularly good in the financial technology industry. Platforms for fintech apps must be safe, scalable, and easy to use, and Full Stack Developers meet these requirements. While backend systems guarantee safe transactions and data encryption, frontend frameworks such as React allow developers to create user-friendly dashboards for banking and investment apps.
When incorporated through backend APIs, technologies like blockchain improve financial transaction transparency and lower fraud. At the same time, Full Stack Developers use machine learning algorithms to identify transaction irregularities or provide tailored financial advice. They develop systems that transform the way people handle their money by striking a balance between innovation and usefulness.
Scaling Startups and SMEs
Small-to-medium businesses (SMEs) and startups frequently struggle to scale their digital operations; Full Stack Developers offer the knowledge to get over these obstacles. Their speedy creation of Minimum Viable Products (MVPs) allows businesses to test concepts in the marketplace. Full Stack Development uses scalable structures and cloud integrations to make sure that apps can meet growing user demands as businesses expand.
For example, when developing progressive web apps (PWAs) for their frontend, entrepreneurs frequently leverage AWS or Google Cloud for backend services. Because of this, they can provide app-like experiences on various devices without paying for native app development. Businesses may scale effectively while preserving excellent user experiences if they have Full Stack knowledge.
Conclusion:
Full Stack Development enables the creation of creative, effective, and scalable applications that are essential to the digital economy. Full Stack Developers are essential to enabling the digital revolution, from developing smooth e-commerce platforms to fostering finance innovation and assisting startups. Consider taking an Internship in Full Stack Development if you are motivated to contribute to this exciting profession. You will gain the skills and practical experience necessary to succeed in creating the digital economy of the future thanks to these chances.

Key Advantages of Using a Web Development Framework
Tumblr media
In today’s fast digital world, the development of websites and web applications needs to be both efficient and scalable. This is where web development frameworks come into play, offering a structured environment that speeds up the development process while reducing the amount of repetitive coding developers must do. Here are some of the core benefits of using a Web development framework:
1. Efficiency in Coding: Web development frameworks come pre-loaded with a toolbox of components that can be reused for various functions across different projects. This means developers don’t need to write code from scratch every time, leading to faster development cycles. Frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Django, and Laravel, for instance, follow the principle of "convention over configuration," simplifying the coding process further.
2. Enhanced Security: Security is a major concern in web development, and frameworks provide a solid foundation by incorporating built-in security features. These might include protection against common threats such as SQL injection, cross-site scripting (XSS), and cross-site request forgery (CSRF). The community support behind these frameworks also ensures regular updates and patches to safeguard against new vulnerabilities.
3. Support for MVC Architecture: Most modern web development frameworks adhere to the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture, which separates the data model with business rules from the user interface. This separation helps in managing complex applications, as it allows multiple Web developers to work on the model, controller, and view separately without interfering with each other’s work.
4. Community Support and Resources: One of the biggest advantages of using popular frameworks is the extensive community support they provide. Whether it’s troubleshooting, seeking advice, or sharing expertise, there’s always a community to turn to. Additionally, abundant resources such as plugins and modules can significantly extend the functionality of your web applications without the need to develop these features from scratch.
5. Scalability: With the inherent structure and tools provided by frameworks, scaling up web applications becomes much easier. Frameworks are designed to accommodate growth, handling more requests per second and allowing for further development as user numbers grow.
6. Enhanced Team Collaboration: Web development frameworks enforce best practices and coding standards, ensuring that all developers on a team are working in sync. This is particularly beneficial for larger teams or projects where consistent coding is crucial.
7. Faster Time-to-Market: By speeding up the development process and simplifying various stages of the lifecycle of web application development, frameworks significantly reduce time-to-market.

THREE QUEENS OF DOMESTICITY
Ava’s husband Reuben, as Ava informed Domme Lux in the unfinished basement beforehand, had only contributed to the collaring ceremony through draping the gaping drywall with swags of lavender gauze and twinkle lights from Christmas, which blistered the fabric in a damp whimsy Lux hadn’t thought the man capable. But then, Ava said, she had never brought a boy into the household before, and she thought it was only fair to respect Reuben’s distance in the matter. Where he was, she didn’t say. Evey, one of the four usual girls, was already naked but for papery hospitality slippers and trying to tame the blank concrete with a shredded mop. She squeezed the handle to a thin, practical breast each time she lost hope. Her clavicle was tense with little red marks.
Ava sat on her own padded stool applying lotion to her arms as she held court with Lux, Celeste and other colleagues regarding the guest list and particulars. She possessed downy Marilyn Monroe skin and her expression was luminous, while Lux, simultaneously underdressed, clammy, and overheated (it was summer, high noon outside, but Halloweentown below) started to feel the depression sink in. She’d chosen to wear a sleeveless mock turtleneck cinched in via a skintight pencil skirt and knee-high chunk pumps, and it all looked charming enough to her when she texted a picture to Jules. Sexual language arts teacher or Lorelai Gilmore season 1-2? She’d typed. But Jules had been AWOL since Thursday and now Lux had no chaperone and no wisdom. Ava didn’t let it go unremarked.
“It’s June,” she informed, like Lux didn’t know. “So, he’s sucking up to his leather daddies and his drag queens, while the rest of us behave like grown-ups. Correct?”
Guests arrived. Lux decided on strategic retreat and glued her spine to a far swampy corner and gradually became happier to have interpreted the dress code on the conservative side. Ava sent out the invite via her personal newsletter, with the esoteric instruction to dress within the modes of business or pleasure and it became clear of the basement filling nobody had made a collective interpretation. Celeste, shivering underneath her partner’s bomber jacket had prevailed on a frail sundress and the man in front of Lux wore a boxy Uniqlo blazer on top and a polyester jockstrap that read PIG BOY in an eternal ring around the waist. His white ass loomed beneath her line of vision, a sobering reality check to Evey and the other girls kneeling like wraiths up front, their smudged outlines harkening more toward Salo than Ava would ever intend.
Candles were lit. Lux could not get rid of the haunted house excess bringing her mood down, even as Ava, up front on her dais and methodically strapping her bagged up new boy onto his striker frame, vamped in a costumy corset of sectional purple brocade (Jules) opera-length latex mittens (Jules) and slick black shoulder plate and hood of indeterminate material (no doubt made by an enemy of Jules), and if Jules himself would ever show up, as promised, Lux could decide what was worse: Ava mixing materials or mixing designers.
But what was worst above all, she already knew, was that three poems had already been read and Ava was reading one still. She read one stanza per one buckle. Her new boy, before being lowered into his body bag, had read one himself to clarify his submission. His face had been beaky and palling. He had flat blue eyes. She liked him much better totally hidden from view and wondered how a hardline heterosexual like Ava could entertain delicate styles in women but such insipid taste in dudes.
A ray of light split the room like a knife and vanished. A couple people moaned, blinded in one eye. The crowd to Lux’s left grunted and spat, ruffled, then parted. She didn’t notice Jules until he had a cold hand behind her neck. Even with walls on both her sides, he found a blind spot.
He stuck his tongue in her ear, knowing full well she couldn’t shout him down in this scenario. “What’s up sugar,” he said, barely acceptably hushed. “How many poems has it been?”
“And the moonrise over the hill,” Ava recited, yanking a new strap, “Rises in tune – to your mind upon my person – to your body upon my person – to your devotion to my person –”
“It’s been this one for a while,” Lux said. She grabbed him and squashed him to her side. You had to meet Jules nuisance per nuisance when he felt energetic, or he’d trample you to death. When he was overbearing, she preferred him coldhearted, and when he was frosty, she preferred him needy. It was wedding season, and he hadn’t had enough brides to wear him out. “What took you so long?”
“Stopped for food. I’ve been up for uh…thirty-six hours.”
PIG BOY’s head turned back fractionally, then he thought better of looking and faced front.
“Wedding?”
“Shereen Allure made the Miss Continental Elite lineup. She got her hooks in me. She needs an evening gown, an interview moment, talent outfit that’ll stay together through the twenty fucking backflips I know she’ll want to do – baby, sweetie, honey, let me just stone you a fucking leotard, but no, she wants everything to sweep the toes. Insanity.” Jules craned his head around PIG BOY’s shoulder, and, seeing the wild look on his face, she wormed her hand underneath his shirt and pinched his ribs before he could think of speaking above sotto voice.
“Work function,” she warned. “Work function!”
“I wouldn’t go to my boss’s wedding,” Jules said, but he shriveled back into her shoulder obediently. “Gross. What’s she wearing?”
“A couple things of yours.”
“Against medical advice.”
Ava’s boy was buckled in midway up his ribs. They had to last to the neck. Somebody close to the front of the house darted forward to re-light the tea candles extinguished in their little glasses, scattered among Ava’s stilts. Lux thought: Suck-up.
“Cocksucker,” Jules hissed into her neck.
Profound is your sacred neck –
Ava claimed.
And affectionate, my lips, on its nape –
The boy in the bag didn’t judder or wince or squirm or move an inch. If Lux hadn’t been around to watch him step inside it, she would have considered him a mannequin. More guests arrived, fashionably late, and she and Jules alternately jostled the roach hotel between her ankles as they bandied to stay upright. PIG BOY had enough of them and forced his way further into crowd.
“What’s his name, anyway?” Jules asked, of bag-boy.
“Shawn. Mark. Uh…Jake.”
“Fucking John Donne up there has a boner for a goddamn Cody.” Jules wiped his nose on her shoulder. “I can’t breathe down here. Come on, ta-ta.”
The basement door opened into a little cairn staircase and led them blinking into the lawn (a lawn!) a black walnut tree dripping with green baubles (a tree!). Jules assisted her over the porch railing (a porch!) and spanked the dust from the seat of her skirt. They entered the gleaming kitchen, already occupied by Ava and Rueben’s straightest friends who, thin-lipped, met their sangrias with unenthusiasm.
“One thing I will say for Ava,” said a woman wearing a mock turtleneck similar to Lux’s own, “She certainly has…flair.”
A man turned to Jules and asked, helplessly, how long these things lasted. The preliminaries, Jules asked, or the mingling, or the primary ceremony, or the potluck or the afterparty? And while he laid out the etiquette Lux stared at the dustless countertops and the seafoam green cabinets, smooth to the touch, and their silver handles and the tile floor and the padded breakfast nook with its stained glass overhead light and the jazzy track lights situated over the looming kitchen island. Lysol lingered underneath the tawny fumes of a candle labeled CARMEL TRUFFLE SUNDAE and the photo pasted to the candle, she was ashamed to say, made her hungry. A kitchen-aide, which Lux had seen featured in some of Ava’s private photoshoots, gleamed, an untouchable ruby atop a mounted wall cabinet.
Jules’s conversation partner said he had tried to muscle through the ceremony but one of Ava’s slaves (the man himself hedged, politely, and referred to her as Ava’s housemaid) had accidentally brushed him with her nude bosom and he thought, well, better safe than sorry and beat it to safer pastures. “I don’t want to get her in trouble,” he claimed. The sangria was doing nothing to free him from this downward spiral of nakedness.
The mock turtleneck woman held the pitcher out to Lux for a sniff. “It’s virgin,” she pronounced, disgusted.
Jules shifted his backpack into the nook. He removed a pair of purple Easy Spirit pumps, a wad of pantyhose cut off at the thigh, two rolls of duct tape, a greasy paper bag from a Vienna Sausage, a Ziplock of loose bronze eyelets, a lacy bridal bralette and ouvert panty set Lux thought she had permanently lost and finally a half-empty bottle of white rum, which he handed around.
“She and Reuben,” the mock turtleneck woman confided, tit for tat, “Had two cash bars at their wedding.”
“I get it’s a private residence,” the man continued, wide eyed, as he tilted the bottle drop by tiny drop into his cup. “But is the nudity like – mandatory?”
“Don’t be shy,” Jules suggested, happy in his eternal revolving door from Bitch to Hostess. “Really tip that bad boy in there.”
The man turned on Lux, aghast. “Mandatory nudity?”
“Jules,” she said. “Bathroom escort, please.”
The floors were fake grey wood and if they’d been in socks, they would have slipped and slid like newborn colts through a framed gauntlet of Ava and Reuben’s documented civilian life. On the right, a picture of Reuben T-posing against the horizon of the Grand Canyon. On the left, Ava’s Reiki Master III certificate from Sat Nam. A family reunion and matching T-shirts (Ava’s side of the family). A newlywed embrace at the foot of an anonymous waterfall in the Upper Peninsula. She’d seen all this before, well acquainted with the ground floor of Ava’s house, but now she wondered if Zach-Cody-Jake-Shawn, petrified below her feet, was feeling the weight of the roof on his chest like she felt.
Jules, on his own agenda, bypassed the bathroom door which was modestly shut and tugged her toward the staircase.
“Oh shush,” she warned preemptively. “We’re not allowed!” They’d never been upstairs before.
“What? They don’t have a bathroom up there?”
“She’ll know,” Lux said as they tiptoed upward. She imagined their footfalls pounding through the ceiling of the basement and Ava, coolly, directing her eyes toward the ceiling and right up Lux’s skirt.
“If you quit being so aware of her, she wouldn’t be aware of you,” Jules counseled.
Every door upstairs was closed, sanded and paper-smooth and plumbed correctly in their jambs. Her apartment had more in common with Ava’s basement. Melancholy prevented her from noticing Jules bypassing the obvious bathroom door where the shadow of a jailed cat paced and opening another. It was Ava’s and Rueben's bedroom.
“Uh-oh,” Jules said. “What an honest mistake.”
“Stop, stop, stop,” she begged, dancing backward, but the arrested step of somebody entering the downstairs hallway had her shoving him inside. Jules grabbed her wrist before she could slam the door shut in panic and guided it closed himself, soundlessly.
“Somebody’s coming!” She hissed.
“Nobody’s coming,” he said. “Not upstairs, at least.”
Next door, the cat mewed piteously.
The bedroom, to her surprise, held no accoutrements of Ava’s work at the club, not a stocking on the ground or a corset thrown over the back of a chair. The only suggestion of her taste for grandeur Lux recognized was the four-poster bed and the plum carpet. Even the makeup mirror standing up on the desk was just an electric plastic-framed Conair. The same kind Lux, at 14, had hidden underneath her bed.
Jules touched one of the bedposts. “You think she ever spread-eagles ol’ Rueben on these babies?”
Reuben worked in software. He had a crew cut, no distinguishing features, and upper veneers. When grouped together, he referred to all of Ava’s dommes as you kids. Alone, he called Lux Little Lady and Jules Hey, It’s My Man! Before thumping him with lethal force between the shoulder blades. Lux didn’t want to imagine Ava and Reuben fucking in the four-poster bed. But, on contemplation, she realized it was an impossible task.
She peeked into the master bathroom long enough to confirm Ava installed a whirlpool tub. Jules had already thrown open her closet and was sifting through hangers. He stood rumpled in his flip-flops and she was worried his hands would leave marks.
“She’ll know someone was snooping.”
“Did she ever notice when you and Celeste moved everything in the dungeon three inches to the left on April Fools?”
Lux sat gingerly on the desk chair. The Conair makeup mirror was still lit, and she checked her hairline, her face, her cleavage (she’d been paranoid for two months that she was shrinking) in the mock turtleneck. In a silver stand-frame was a black-and-white of Ava alone, on her wedding day. She posed in black-and-white before a crumbling brick wall, body positioned forward but facing right, absurdly fresh, and nearly sweet-sixteen in a sweetheart neckline and ruffled cap sleeves.
Jules loomed like a vulture over her shoulder and judged for himself. “Not what I would have picked for her,” He decided.
But Lux couldn’t look away from the picture. Ava, pre-Entrance, pre-homeowner, pre-stable-of-subs, pre-whirlpool tub. In the sterile silence of the bedroom, she had nothing to cloud her thoughts. “Ava always knew,” she announced. “Look at her expression. She knew all along.”
“Knew what?”
“That it was always going to work out. That she was always going to lock this down.”
“Lock what down?”
Lux tried to set the picture frame exactly where she’d left it but couldn’t quite recall. She pushed Jules away from her, annoyed, and tried a different a different route. “Do you think he really loves her?”
“Reuben?”
“No, Zach – Jake – Shawn – whatshisname. In the basement.”
She felt Jules descend into sulky silence, that his magpie-plan of breaking and entering was not rendering hilarious fruit. She heard the bedsprings creak and two little claps as his sandals hit the floor.
“We make fun of her,” Lux insisted. “But she’s got the husband who loves her, and four full-timers cycling in and out of this beautiful house with a beautiful tree and green grass underneath and now this new kid. He wrote her a poem. She can inspire people to do things like that.”
Jules huffed.
Lux prodded: “Remember her interview in the Reader a few Prides ago? She said she owes it all to her Unapologetic Femininity. A successful woman constantly births this psychic potential in observing bodies.”
“He wrote a shitty villanelle and climbed into a gimp bag in front of twenty-three perverts, so Ava’ll suffocate him with her titties for three years. That’s psychic potential?”
“And what about Carmen, and Robin, and Deanna, and Evangeline?”
“What about Analise Petro? She split from the coven pretty fucking publicly.”
“Years ago. And she was immature. You and her were the same age.” At that time, Lux hadn’t made the decision if Jules, then a furious little boy-twink, would be nemesis or pal. She’d half-believed Jules poisoned Analise against Ava on purpose.
Jules, blissfully not thirty, ignored her. “Evey is my age,” he claimed.
“Carmen is thirty-six.” Lux, thirty-two, fretted, twisted her fingers. “Think of the responsibility. It’s all in her hands and she just…molds it.”
“Because of her essential femininity? You’re out of your mind.”
Downstairs, the sliding glass door to the backyard rattled. A few hoots of laughter drifted ghostly through the walls. Then the doors rattled twice, and silence seethed.
“They change until they stay the same,” Jules said, too self-assured for someone sylphing on a strange bedspread with dirty feet. “And they’ll stay until they go away. Right about when Ava stops making them feel safe.”
“With –?”
“With her social nets and her two-story house and her dual income,” Jules said, sitting upright.  He was all the sudden blank-faced, voice poisonous, and she wondered automatically if his mother had been calling him late in the night. “With her sex gear she commissions from me. With the soothing atmosphere that Carmen interior designs, that Robin cleans, and the fucking homemade meals with the kitchen aide that only Deanna knows how to use. And you want me to think she’s this red-hot all-natural Madonna? You know better.”
Jules was rumpled beyond repair. He wore a tank top she’d gifted for his 27th birthday. It had ITALIAN FILLY printed on the front, and already the letters were starting to peel. He glared. Lux questioned the sincerity of his anger, if he only played it up because he noticed she was too sad to dig up anger herself, anger she felt all the time when she was perfectly alone, but she decided she was too pleased being noticed at all. Maybe in half an hour, she’d be happy enough to preen.
She got up and went to him on the bed and he sat up like a human being so she could clap his face in her hands. But he wasn’t done yet.
“She’s only a woman because she’s surrounded by one hundred sycophants who let her be one,” he sneered, and she felt the little muscles in his jaw. “Sisterhood is powerful!”
She slapped him on the mouth, but only a little bit. “What does that make me?” She asked, houseless, sycophant-less, suspicious her only sisters were biological.
“A woman who doesn’t need her yeast infections to remind her that she’s a woman.” He squirmed in her grip, for her enjoyment only, and his face reddened where it usually got red, close to the ears before it began to band his big nose. It was almost enough to make her forget she was only attracted to him when he was worn down to a nub of exhaustion. Usually, he was belly-up on the floor, with one arm thrown over his eyes, and one of his wrists in his carpal tunnel brace. Something about that brace lit her ass on fire. It made her want to pull down the blinds and eat him alive through his armpit. “Are we going to do something horrible to this bedspread or what?”
“Close your eyes.” He had an insane habit of kissing with his eyes open, and even she, the honorable first girl who’d ever fucked him, hadn’t trained him out of it. “Close your eyes,” he countered, and pulled the zipper on the back of her skirt so he could pull out her turtleneck out of her waist. It jammed. They struggled.
“Suck it in,” he ordered thoughtlessly, and the second she pulled in a deep breath she every inch of him sprang, alert, into a frenzy she couldn’t understand. He caught her around the waist and rolled them both off the bed and into the space between the wall and the gap where the bedclothes hung. She was just about to shriek at him when she heard bare feet pat-pat outside the bedroom door. Jules swept her under the bed (you could stack three bodies on top of each other, under there) and followed her himself just as the door opened.
Lux curled into a little ball. Jules elected to lay flat like a tapeworm.
A woman’s voice cooed. Lux waited. Doom squeezed her heart. But the voice wasn’t Ava’s.
“Sugar-pants, sugar-pants,” the voice caroled sweetly.
Then she saw the bare feet tip-tapping over the carpet, and she clocked the voice as Evangeline’s. She had freed the cat from the bathroom, and presumably held it in her arms, sweet-talking it. Lux dared to roll over to face Jules. He pinched his nose shut against a sneeze.
“I know baby, fluffy-baby,” Evey said. The desk chair scraped when she settled down into it. “You don’t like it in there. I know. I know. No huggle-wuggles for baby in there. You’re claustrophobic. So am I! Ugh!”
Evey gagged. She sobbed wretchedly for five whole minutes (Lux counted). The cat’s purr reached torrential volumes of pleasure. Near the end she reached for Jules’s hand, and they lay, foreheads together, too shy to look each other in the eye as Evey opened a drawer somewhere for tissues and was paralyzed by an attack of hiccups. Lux had to put all her muscle into not echoing her in sympathy.
Evey muttered to herself. “I’m claustrophobic, so I can’t let Her put me in the bag. If I can’t go in the bag, then I don’t get a poem.”
Click. Tap. Click. The drawer shutting. The lights of the makeup mirror turning off.
“I don’t get a poem,” Evey asserted. “I don’t get a poem.” And lower – “I’m not allowed to have a poem. I can’t have a poem. Or a tattoo.”
The cat gurgled.
Evey fled, down the hall, where a door slammed. Then, as if to fix the breach of discipline, the door opened again, and was closed so quietly Lux wasn’t sure it was closed at all.
She and Jules waited, then parted and unearthed themselves on either side of the bed. Jules zipped her skirt and together they patted down the bedspread. He had the faraway look in his eye he usually had when he was thinking about pattern-drafting and Lux replayed in her brain Evey’s Ugh! She wondered if one of her clients had ever gone home, away from her, looked in their bathroom mirror, stuck out their tongue and gone Ugh!
“Come on,” Jules said. The cat, abandoned again, eyed him from the desk chair. “Let’s go down and pay our respects to King Tut.”
And to the cat: “What the fuck are you looking at?”
If he’d acted smug at having his cynicism proven, she might have hit him for real. She’d hit him for real – which in their shared experience, meant purely out of anger – twice. The first time he’d deserved it. The second time he punished her, said she hit like a nelly fag and blocked her phone number for a month. Then he reemerged as swiftly as he’d removed himself, but pointedly, with an uncharacteristically physically proximate boyfriend who lasted exactly three months. She considered that his way of informing her she had been on probation.
“I’m lonely,” she said, because that was the problem.
“I’m literally right here, idiot.”
But when they reached the staircase the noise of the swelling party in the kitchen reached their ears. They decided to go down separately, for the sake of modesty, and Jules went first. He kissed her ear, conciliatory, and she watched the high yoke of his shoulders descend until she was alone again.
Who needed it, she thought, the fifteen-dollar candles and the floors constructed so they do not have to be waxed, the fleet of morose women and the sexless men? Years ago, she’d walked into Jules’s squalid, long-gone basement apartment with a frayed leather harness and been shocked at the sight of the missing Analise Petro sleeping on his futon. Split by her own precarious position in Ava’s club at the time, she’d whipped out her phone, as if to rat them both out then and there. Jules never even looked up from the dress form he was taping.
He asked: What do you give a cunt to convince her a community matter is a private matter?
He clipped off the tape with scissors longer than his hand.
A house!
Lux wanted a house. She wanted to jam her hooks into a hunk with big delts, and huge tits, and chain him up under the bed, somebody the opposite of Jules in every way, and she wanted to bake a successful quiche and she wanted, most of all, her and her sisters’ beloved childhood mutt Chessie, who had leapt off the family pontoon one 4th of July weekend on Indian Lake to his idiot death, to be revived and come trotting up the staircase and into her arms, panting with joy, not because he had been resurrected, but because he loved her best of all.

Loneliness
”It’s not so bad not being in a league that suits me.”
It was a personal mantra that she told herself every day, even if it did kind of hurt. Citrus was born as both a Rose and an Arc, two powerful family bloodlines that were well renowned on Remnant by now, thanks to the defeat of Salem. However, Citrus’ elder siblings Garnet and Blossom, have been shown to be marginally stronger and almost gifted...or actually gifted. Garnet had inherited a portion of Ruby’s Spring Maiden magic on top of Jaune’s hefty Aura with the addition of a strong Semblance, while Blossom was a Silver Eyed Warrior, the greatest of all destined to slay Grimm and be the heroes of humanity. While Citrus was...just normal.
Yep, no insane powers, no off-the-wall weapon that has multiple transformations, no fancy Semblance (other than the ability to talk to animals), she was a normal girl who wanted to be a Huntress, like everyone her generation. However she felt an odd lonesome feeling inside her, when her brother and sister went off to Signal for the first time, Citrus was alone at home with her aunt Yang, grandpa Qrow, uncle Tai, and aunt Raven. If that wasn’t enough her Semblance let her speak to the family dog Zwei and the five wolves Ruby adopted, Drei, Vier, Funf, Sechs, and Null. And yet...she still had this emptiness in her heart. Well unlucky for her it was about to intensify that feeling tenfold as she was about to head to Signal tomorrow, the day after her siblings and cousin graduate. Right now it was well into the evening, the sun setting on the horizon, rays of light beaming down on the Rose-Arc & Xiao Long-Branwen residence, Citrus leaning against the railing, teetering her weighted collapsible scythe, Soulful Reave, back and forth, her emerald green eyes staring off into space, tangerine curled hair catching the wind.
Jaune: Someone’s a little broody.
Citrus: Hmm?! Oh, hi dad!
Jaune: Is Qrow’s mysterious edginess rubbing off on you or am I just reading too much into this?
Citrus: Pffft, nooo dad, I’m fine, thank you. Just...thinking, deep contemplation about the future.....
Jaune: Excited you’re going to Signal tomorrow?
Citrus: Heheheee, not really...?
Jaune: Why not?
Citrus: *stops teetering her scythe* Dad, do you think I’m...special?
Jaune: The “daddy loves his special girl” kind of special or...
Citrus: The special that’s meant for amazing things, I don’t feel like I am.
Jaune: Woah woah woah, what brought this on?!
Citrus: Nothing, I’m...*sigh* Dad, compared to Garnet and Blossom, I’m so bland! I have nothing truly remarkable about m-* her shoulders are held as she faces her father*
Jaune: Citrus, tell me what’s going on, is everything okay?
Citrus: I don’t think so...have you ever had the feeling of overwhelming loneliness and that you’re far behind people close to you?
Jaune: More than you could fathom, sweetheart. But that was a long time ago, and with a little bit of time, and the love from those people around me, it eventually went away. Why, is it the fact that your brother and sister are way ahead of you getting to you?
Citrus: *tears form in her eyes* Y-yeah, a lot...
Jaune: Oh, sweety. *he brings his small daughter into a huge hug* Believe me when I say that feeling is completely normal, your mother and I had this lonely, by-our-selves spell when we first went to Beacon.
Citrus: I just feel so out of place. I hear about all these kids who were raised by amazing Huntsmen, their amazing transforming weapons, and their powerful Semblances, then there’s me. Swinging around a simple scythe and talking to animals, no Maiden or S.E.W. powers...
Jaune: Citrus, look at me. *his gaze is met by the distraught, teary-eyed face of his daughter* All these feelings, all these issues you’re feeling right now are completely normal for a thirteen year old to experience! Think it like, you’re still going through your “character arc,” which always starts just as you turn thirteen. You’ll get to that important “climax” of your story some day.
Citrus: *sniff* R-really...?
Jaune: I know so. Now let’s go inside, dinner’s almost ready!
Citrus: I’ll head in a second, gotta go put Soulful Reave back in in the shed.
Such an action to her weapon would make her brother, proverbially, lose his mind, but she took good care of her scythe, occasionally but primarily leaving it in the room she shared with her siblings, like they do with their weapons. Tomorrow would be the first step into this “character arc” of hers, and she would tackle it however she could!
-The next day-
Strolling down the halls of Signal wasn’t so bad, she was old enough to be by herself while her parents weren’t too far off. Ruby had gone with the many other parents of new students to a little meeting, confirming their classes and whatnot, meanwhile Citrus wandered around Signal, her orange cloak flowing as she strolled along, seeing big metal lockers to hold plenty of supplies, classrooms, a library, and the cafeteria. What she didn’t expect to come across was a large crowd of kids clamoring around a board with a myriad of papers on it. Among this crowd the youngest Rose-Arc saw the red-patched blonde hair of her sister.
Citrus: Blossom? *she called over the talkative graduates*
Blossom: Hey baby sis! You here on your intro tour? *the blonde side-stepped through the moderate sea of teens, a few of which turned heads to the younger teen*
Citrus: Yep, mom just went with the other parents to that meeting! What are you doing over here with everyone?
Blossom: Seeing who got their academic success title.
Citrus: You’re what?
“An awesome title for how well you did in your classes!” chimed a female student.
Citrus: Oh, cool!
Blossom: Wanna guess what I got?
Citrus: I...don’t know what they are.
Blossom: Oh, well come look.
Taking a closer look at the board, Citrus saw this hefty list of names that made her head spin. So many names, numbers, scores, classes.
Citrus: This makes my brain hurt...
Blossom: Same here, and could you help me find my name, I’ve been helping everyone here find their’s for a while n-
Citrus: You got Salutatorian, Garnet got Valedictorian, and Lea’s below both of you!
Blossom: I’M WHAT?!
The students: THEY’RE WHAT!?
“I’m what now???” came a familiar voice behind the girls and the crowd. They turned to find Garnet himself, in the midst of eating a roll of cookie dough from the cafeteria. Without thinking the students swarmed him, barging questions left and right; “How are you so smart,” or “Please teach me your ways,” and “You’re amazing Garnet!”
Garnet: Woah, slow down guys, I’m not that great honest! I just studied and practiced like anyone else would.
“But you got Valedictorian, dude!!!” exclaimed a male student with very punk-rock hair.
“That’s an achievement in and off itself!” cheered a preppy looking girl.
“You’re a freaking prodigy, bro!!!!” cried a sporty, muscular lad.
Garnet: Alright, listen up everyone, I’m gonna give you some life advice you all need to hear. Trying to be like me is impossible, and I wouldn’t go as far as to say I’m a prodigy. Yes I have powers of a Maiden inherited from my mother, yes I have a massive amount of Aura and strong Semblance to boot, yes I also have multiple weapons and am highly skilled in using all of them. However that doesn’t place me above the rest of you, nor should it make you all downplay yourselves! You all have your strengths and weaknesses, but you shouldn’t strive to become like me, because I’m not perfect. Imitation is the cheapest form of flattery that mediocrity can pay in greatness. Don’t strive to be me, strive be a better you, because their can only be one of us in the world! And if you do find someone like you later in life...*claps hands* Then I got nothing. *awkwardly smiles*
His audience applauded, but mostly laughed at the perplexing finish to his speech. His sisters had their own reactions, Blossom shaking her head and smiling in a way that conveyed a “The fact I’m related to you is astonishing” feel, Citrus on the other hand was captivated. “Strive to be a better you,” this phrase alone struck many chords in her, to the point that the lonely feeling of hers dissipated somewhat...
“Ohhh yawn-a-fuckin’-rama! That was the cheesiest shit I’ve ever heard, One Armed Arc!”
The students instinctively winced at the sound of the boastful and snarky voice. Collectively looking to the source, a tall girl with long burnt-orange hair and indigo eyes, clad in gray armor with a gold trim, a jet black waist cloth on the tool belt around her. Strapped to her back in a sheath was a morning star mace, the signature and feared weapon wielded by Signal Academy’s tyrant.
Blossom: Carly Winchester...
Citrus: ...
Garnet: And why are you here?
Carly: No reason, except I just heard a one-armed loser spouting some bullshit and being humble. Face it, you could be running this school! And yet you choose to be weak, lumping yourselves with these peons who could get their asses reamed by you.
Blossom: Garnet isn’t weak!
Carly: Aww look, little Ms. Self-loathing wants to act all big and tough! Why don’t you can it and go cry on the roof like you always do.
Citrus: *grits teeth and clenches her fists*
Garnet: What I do doesn’t make me weak Carly, I-
Carly: OH FUCKING SPARE ME! Hearing your high and mighty “holier-than-thou” bullshit makes me sick, you have the powers of a damn GOD and look where you are!
Citrus: ...hat’s it to y... *mumbles*
Carly: Hmm what’s that Shorty, got some shit to say? If you don’t then butt the fuck out, the adults are tal-
Citrus: WHAT’S IT TO YOU!? All you ever do is hurt and scare people, that’s not power, that’s being a jerk!
Carly: You-!
Citrus, standing in front of Carly now: My big brother is more of a Hunter and leader than you could ever hope to be! All you are is a bully, a coward, and an absolute BITCH!!!
Everyone present gasped, Garnet and Blossom were shocked into silence. Calling Carly a bitch was something else entirely, but hearing it from Citrus, someone who had never sworn in her life?! Surely they must’ve been dreaming, right??? Obviously they weren’t, for Carly had looked around incredulous, thinking she had heard the orangenette right.
Carly: The fuck did you just say to me you little shit...?!
Citrus: You heard me, you’re nothing but a BI-!
Carly: SHUT THE FUCK UP!!!!!
The warrior girl screamed in tandem with swinging her mace directly down onto the smaller girl. The motion happened at such a speed, all that was seen was a shiny, gray blur kicking up dust and debris when it landed.
Garnet/Blossom: CITRUS!!!
The youngest Rose-Arc braced for the impact beforehand...but it never came. Instead when she opened her eyes, she was in a dust cloud, embraced by her cousin, Lea Xiao Long-Schnee, her giant gauntlets blocking the crushing blow.
Lea: Might I ask why the hell you are attacking my cousin, Carly? *she said in a low tone, pushing the warrior girl back a good few feet*
Carly: Mind telling me why your brat isn’t on her child leash?!
Lea: *eyes turning lilac, blue fire adorning her hair* I think Citrus is going to be the least of your worries right now...
Citrus stepped back, knowing full well what was coming next. Garnet walked past her but not before looking at his baby sister.
Garnet: Might wanna go get mom and the principal, this courtyards about to become a war zone. *he winked*
Carly targeted him first, her mace colliding with the boy’s head and sending him staggering. He regained his footing, readying his own gauntlets as Lea pounced on Carly, throwing her into one of the support columns in the courtyard, Garnet running up and landing jab after jab upon Carly. Blossom held Citrus’ hand as they ran off to find their mother before the situation got worse, as they ran they heard the unmistakable sound of the Maiden powers flaring from their brother and cousin.
Blossom: We’ll leave it to them to kick Carly’s butt.
Citrus: ...
Blossom: You okay?
Citrus: Yeah yeah, just thinking.
Blossom: You narrowly avoiding getting brained by an amazon brute???
Citrus: Well...besides that, but what Garnet said earlier.
Blossom: Oh that.
Citrus: It stuck with me, and...and I think it should solve all my problems.
Blossom: ...if you say so!
Seems her father was right, today was when her character arc would begin, and now she would walk through it with her head held high!

CAN I ALSO LEARN AI?
Artificial intelligence is one of the most significant breakthroughs of the 21st century. Experts from different industries study its capabilities and discover new ways of its application, which is why AI is called an evolving science. Artificial intelligence systems represent a pretty exciting area of study: There is a good-sized call for people with the skills needed, and the technology is still developing and growing.
However, we know that it can be a little difficult to figure out how best to get involved with the tech, especially if you’re wanting to learn on your own. Fortunately, there are plenty of resources available for beginners to build up their knowledge and skills—or even figure out whether this path is for them, and through this article, we help you do the same.
Before you get into the nitty-gritty of this learning process, you must start with the basics – programming. Even if you don’t have any prior experience in engineering, you can learn artificial intelligence from home and start applying your knowledge in practice, creating simple machine learning solutions and making first steps towards your new profession.
Learn a programming language first. Java (link to Java and Play framework article???), Python, C++, JavaScript, and Ruby on Rails, are probably the most common and useful ones. Better yet, it’s easier than ever to learn how to code for free with the help of many applications available at a click. And the little homework you’re supposed to do is work in these areas- Advanced Math (e.g. correlation algorithms) and Stats Programming language Machine Learning
With a strong background in the same, you can then start learning AI online by enrolling in a course. However, to be ahead in the game, make sure you are well aware too with the latest developments in the field. In addition to courses on artificial intelligence, passionate programmers, software developers, and computer science students can also read books on the topic. There are quite a few out there that are both puzzling and incredibly interesting. All of them will help broaden your knowledge of AI and its potential.
Artificial intelligence is no longer a product of our imagination. AI is real and we use it daily. Cortana, Siri and Google Now have become our most valued virtual personal assistants. The gaming industry uses artificial intelligence to create seamless online experiences and the auto industry currently focuses on smart cars that drive themselves. Fraud detection and purchase prediction software programs are artificially intelligent products too. In layman’s terms, your house, bank, smartphone and car all use AI on a daily basis.
AI has gone mainstream, and today’s savvy software developers and programmers are fascinated by its potential. Still asking the question: ‘How to start learning Artificial Intelligence?’, then our advice is to start with the basics first – advanced math. Move up and take a step further by learning a programming language. Get more familiar with machine learning and you’ll be ready to understand artificial intelligence too. Advanced technologies like AI slowly move out from the data center and out into the world.
The understanding of artificial intelligence opens lots of opportunities. It’s enough to master the basics of this technology to understand how simple tools work. There are endless possibilities in this field. Studying AI is necessary for a career in software engineering, in case you want to work with human-machine interfaces, neural networks, and quantum artificial intelligence.

Iceberg Week Day 2-First Kiss: Hell of A View
[Vacuo. Shade Academy. On top of this tapestry-laced school was a balcony overlooking the desert Kingdom just outside of Headmistress Theodore's office.
Ruby Rose and her friends hadn't expected the desert winds to be so refreshing compared to the bloody winter they all went through back in Atlas. And yet, they were still having to assume the worst, given how General Ironwood had betrayed the party. Who knows what Theodore had in mind for them?
Of course, reunions were in order as QROWBYJNRM were more relieved to see Teams SSSN and CFVY with their arrival to Vacuo. So far, so good, as Blake had begun rekindling her relationship with Sun. Ruby and Jaune had been given leadership advice from Coco. Yatsu and Fox had a wicked workout session with Ren and Nora, to name a few.
But one that had been off the books for a while was Weiss and Neptune. When they last saw each other, Weiss had been nearly pummeled by a Paladin-290 on the Beacon campus, and Neptune had, unfortunately not gone for saying hello to Weiss after recent events. Instead flirting with Blake's friend, Ilia, not knowing she was a frigging lesbian.
Sun had given Neptune an appropriate slap upside the head for not asking for clarification. It was a good thing they just had a group chat just before their friends arrived in the Kingdom about his ladykiller shtick, since it wasn't a major issue. But…It could’ve given people a bad impression not just of Neptune, but of Team SSSN altogether.
Needless to say, it had been a bit of a doozy to have Neptune chatting with Weiss again, even though they were long past the whole Team NDGO flirting fiasco in the middle of Vytal.]
Neptune: Whoever this Salem is, she sounds like a real pain in the ass.
Weiss: Like you wouldn’t believe. The girls and I could hold off Professor Lionheart, but General Ironwood and his whole drone fleet? No thanks, I'd rather be doing Father's paperwork.
Neptune: How's the rest of your family doing after the invasion?
Weiss: Mother was in shock by the time we found her. Soon as she recovers, she's gonna head into an anonymous alcoholics group. She was about to have a drink when we found her, but soon as she heard Grimm coming, she threw down the rest of her vodka, set it on fire, and held them off with my grandfather's machine gun.
Neptune: Holy shit!
Weiss: *grins* I know, right? Mother was ready to chase them down herself, had it not been for Ruby blasting them first with the Silver Eyes.
Neptune: Winter?
Weiss: *frowns* Wounded in action. Since the General was going off the deep end, President Baum had to step in and put her on medical discharge since Ironwood had basically been going insane.
Neptune: Whitley?
Weiss: Pretty much refusing to accept that Father worked with a bunch of known terrorists associated with Salem. He's basically shut us out since we barely managed to save Atlas, but since Jacques has been officially disowned by us, he's refusing to speak.
[The ex-heiress sighed, now angrily clenching the railing on the balcony as she seethed about that memory. Neptune said nothing, knowing that she was in no mood for reassurances or the like.
Neptune stood back further from her until Weiss looked up with an interesting question to distract from the negativity of the topic.]
Weiss: Neptune. I wanna know why you came to me during First Year.
Neptune: *raises eyebrow* Huh?
Weiss: You know, *faces Neptune* why you were coming onto me. Why you…Look, it's why you seemed interested in me.
Neptune: Oh! Uh, that…Yeah.
Weiss: Did you want to talk about it?
Neptune: No, not really.
Weiss: Well, I'm curious since it's been ages since we last saw each other.
Neptune: Uh…You seemed different from the other girls I tried to hit on. You were intelligent, talented in a lot of avenues I wasn't. Singing, your combat style, that kinda thing.
Weiss: *expression softens* My talents?
Neptune: Yeah. You were a lot more elegant than me. I was just kind of a klutz who was better off with a railgun. I wasn't just going for your looks, Weiss. I respected who you were, but you seemed a little tense. Like a workaholic. I can be one, too, but with where you came from you sounded like you could use a friend. Not just a boyfriend, but someone who appreciated hard work as much as you.
[Weiss gasped. Her face reddened at his compliments as she placed a hand on her heart.]
Weiss: *blushes* Neptune. Were you…Valuing me?
Neptune: *horrified expression* Oh Gods, I- -I didn't mean it like that. Yeah, I valued you. But I didn't know you were a big deal! You're a noble- -Well, you WERE a noble who wanted to be a Huntress. I'm just a commoner who happened to be leagues ahead of my peers since I was better at fighting and building stuff outside of running my mouth.
Weiss: No-no-no, it’s okay. I guess I didn’t really know how to feel about your flirting at first. I appreciated it. Really, I was used to being valued by other boys for my wealth for so long that I never really considered how anyone else thought of me. That is, until the night when Blake split off from our Team and I realized how bitchy I was being.
Neptune: And I flirted with most girls I saw just to hide my own insecurities. That's why I hit on Team NDGO, because I didn't want the crowd to think I was a loser or something. They weren't really in front of me to judge me, though. I just wanted to entertain them! I wasn't doing it to offend you, Weiss! And then Ilia showed up and- -! *sighs* Gods damn it!
[Neptune had expected her to leave him for the day, since it's been close to a year since they saw each other. Surely, his lack of confidence still wasn’t enough for a young woman as talented as her. What else did he expect? Weiss could still be a damn perfectionist.
But the Huntress had taken one of Neptune's fists. She un-clenched the fist with a brief chilly touch from Myrtenaster, transferred over to her dainty palm. Nep recoiled at the icy jolt as Weiss put both of her hands to his. She gave a soft smile to calm him down.]
Weiss: Neptune. We were just kids at the time. You don't have to prove anything to me to try and be friends with me again. It's been a year, and we've both got our own missions. You, the boys, and Team CFVY have the Crown and it's remnants to deal with. I'm helping Ruby and Ozpin fight Salem. I wouldn't mind remaining friends with you now that we're adults. Okay?
[Neptune was shocked. Of course, he knew that Weiss would forgive him at some point, but so soon after a year? Okay, Remnant was on the brink of the apocalypse. But he didn't think it'd take that for their reunion from earlier in the week to bring it up.]
Neptune: Well...Maybe this is good enough as an adult now?
[Before Weiss could ask what he meant, she was greeted with a kiss. She practically melted in his embrace as she felt her hands reach his stomach and chest. The kiss eventually broke as Weiss looked up, confused but not even angry as they were both attempting to process what just happened.]
Weiss: What the hell was that...?
Neptune: Oh, crap. I'm so sorry, Weiss! That wasn't- -! You said that- -! Please, tell me it's not- -
[Weiss shut him up with a kiss in return. This time, he was taken by surprise as she used a white Glyph to help her up. Standing on her tiptoes for good measure, Weiss got the drop on Neptune this time as she embraced him around his neck. Neptune, meanwhile, embraced Weiss from her backside while running a hand through her shortened hair for the Vacuo mission.
They had been lost in the kiss for a solid minute as they felt their Auras glowing from how connected they felt. Halfway through, their tongues briefly met as they danced around each other. No moans were had. But pure bliss.
Weiss deactivated her Glyph, setting herself down as she had the biggest smirk on her face from Neptune's flabbergasted expression. They kissed! They honest-to-the-Gods kissed! And Weiss had finished it for them. Whaddya know.]
Neptune: *blushing, holding his cheek* Ah…A-Are we even?
Weiss: *smirks* Oh, we're even alright. I gotta go meet with Theodore and the others now, but when this war wraps up. Don't find me, you sweet boy. I'll find you. *winks*
[While she said this, Weiss highlighted one of her legendary legs and gave her ass a brief shake. She bid Neptune farewell for now as she headed to the Headmistress’ office. Neptune's reaction…Welp, read for yourself.]
Neptune: …She likes me! Ha-ha, she likes me!

Ruby on Rails and DataTables plug-in. Server-side processing
Hey! Glad to see you again! Remember how in the previous parts of this tutorial we added DataTables plug-in to Rails application and set up static and Ajax-sourced tables? In this last part, we’re going to set up another table and get familiar with Server-side processing. As it was mentioned b...
